How to release anger using Diamond Feng Shui

by Pete Bissonette

"I am not so angry anymore" is one of the comments I often hear from people who use Diamond Feng Shui. Today let’s talk about a few of the things you can do right now to release anger in your life.

Antiques may have mental, emotional, and even spiritual impressions attached to them that could aggravate frustration and anger. Wash down your antiques with water and a few drops of lavender, geranium, or rosemary essential oils. The energetic properties of these oils will help release any influences from the past.

The past is represented by the basement. If anger stems from the past, clean your basement. While the basement is the best place for storage, too much in your basement can trap you in the past.

Your living quarters represent the present. Too much storage in your living quarters creates stagnant energy as well as inconvenience, frustration, and anger.

Make sure your home and workplace are tidy and uncluttered. Creating harmony in your environment can soften anger.

Check the room around you. Do you have a good mix of the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water? If not add something or decrease something. You can do it with the actual elements or with something of a color that represents the elements. For example:

  • Green, brown, and lilac represent wood
  • Red, orange, purple, yellow, rose, ruby, cherry red, fuchsia, and magenta represent fire
  • Yellow, orange, rose, brown, red, and beige represent earth
  • Silver, gold, copper, and grey represent metal
  • Blue and black represent water

Marie Diamond’s course also tells you what to do when you can’t easily decrease or increase an element. If anger arises from conflict, bring in something that is ruby red to your home or workplace. During Marie’s first visit to our office, she sensed conflict and quarreling among employees in a certain area of the building. She instructed us to put up items of ruby red, which was done eagerly by everyone in that area. They knew they had conflict and wanted to get rid of it. Adding the red—with intention—completely resolved the issues. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Everything plays off each other. Knowing how they interact energetically can bring balance, harmony, and good fortune. Isn’t that what we all want?!
