Chunyi Lin's fluency in numerous Chinese dialects provided him the rare opportunity to study with many acclaimed Qigong masters in his native China.

Chunyi Lin meditated and practiced various austerities in dark caves on Mount Qing Cheng and Mount Dinghu. In Chinese culture, cave meditation is recognized as the most powerful way to develop intuition, perseverance, patience, and tranquility.

The more Chunyi Lin studied Qigong, the more he realized the simplicity and power of Qigong, especially as a tool for healing. He distilled and refined the most effective techniques into a form he could share with the world. His mission became, A healer in every home and a world without pain and suffering.

Since 1995 Spring Forest Qigong has positively transformed the lives of nearly a million students worldwide through personal learning courses and live training. Chunyi’s Spring Forest Qigong Teacher/Healer Certification programs have trained nearly 500 Qigong professionals.

Chunyi Lin also has a master’s degree in holistic healing and is a highly skilled teacher of Tai Chi, Chinese herbal medicine, and Feng Shui. He is the director of the Spring Forest Qigong Healing Center in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, empowering and helping people from all over the world overcome serious health challenges and return to optimal health and well-being.

Independent research studies, including one with researchers from the University of Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic, have found that Spring Forest Qigong techniques are helpful in relieving chronic pain. Other studies have shown its effectiveness in helping oneself with chronic pain, emotional distress, and depression.

Chunyi Lin is the coauthor with Dr. Nisha Manek of the Mayo Clinic of a chapter on Qigong in a medical school textbook, The Textbook of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Second Edition. He has also authored several best-selling books: Born a Healer, Head to Toe Healing: Your Body’s Repair Manual, and Head to Heart.

His live teaching programs and advanced Spring Forest Qigong retreats help people discover their highest potential. Chunyi shares his teaching and wisdom at conferences around the world, in North and South America, Europe, Canada, Australia, and Asia. He’s been featured in regional and national television and print media, including The New York Times.

In 2010, the executive committee of the World Qigong Congress named Chunyi Lin International Qigong Master of the Year. He is a member of the Transformational Leadership Council founded by Jack Canfield.
