Hi!
I was wondering, if a intelligent boy goes into depression, will he be as intelligent as he was before his depression?
Does depression kill cells in the brain. Please help. thanks

I went through a period of depression when I was a teenager. I think that most thinking kids go through some sort of thing like this.

It took a while to get out of that funk, but I assure you that I was at least as intelligent when I got over it, probably more so.

Once you get over the things that are troubling you, you have more resources to devote to focusing on the problems that life presents.

Hope this helps

Depression will affect the sub-conscious mind which will effect learning and creativity. There is no need to suffer in this day and age. You have St. Johns Wort and Prozac to pull you out of that funk...so get off yer' butt and get into the groove...party on dude !!!! Life is too short.
