Dealing with Negative Thoughts and Cloudy Days

by Pete Bissonette

When negative thoughts or feelings of self-doubt, low self-worth, or boredom with your life creep in, what can you do?

Listen to a Paraliminal first thing in the morning and just before bed. Every day.

For most issues, concerns, and goals, listening once a day is just fine. But to lift yourself from a swamp of negative thinking, you’ll definitely benefit from the double-day approach.

* Morning listening clears messy cobwebs and primes your mind with positive expectancy.

* Evening listening clears the day and helps you settle in for a peaceful night’s sleep.

And when you don’t feel like listening – maybe because you are down or feeling sluggish – listen to the Self-Esteem Supercharger. Make that your go-to, your automatic reach.

Those yucky moments when you don’t feel like doing anything are the most important times to listen to a Paraliminal. And here is what’s great about the Self-Esteem Supercharger: you do not have to consciously think of a purpose or a goal for listening. Just choosing to listen is intention enough.

Last summer a client in his mid-40s said he was having more and more bad days when he didn’t feel like doing anything, when he watched TV all weekend without caring what was on, left projects undone, and generally felt lethargic. It wasn’t depression. He simply had more and more cloudy days.

We told him to listen to the Self-Esteem Supercharger every day first thing and just before bed. He told us recently that he hasn’t had a lousy day since the first of the year. And, even though he has the same job, he likes it more now than ever.

That’s the Self-Esteem Supercharger working in concert with your nonconscious mind.

Listen to it. Or, pick a title you are drawn to. As Paul Scheele says, notice which title attracts you. Typically, that’s the one you’ll receive the most benefit.
