Hi all! Hope everyone's keeping well. I had an e-mail from Pete Bissonette in reference to the above subject in which I found to be very interesting. I have been practicing on/off, but, when I got the e-mail I thought I take up the challenge & began on 11/27/2011. I haven't missed a day yet! My 1st question is, I've been doing the challenge at 10am every day as it mentions to do this at the same every day if on the next day & so on do this at about 8am or 9am etc... would it affect me at all in any way? My 2nd one is when I was doing Qi Gong this morning when I finished I noticed cold sweat on my hands. Not too sure why this had happened as this was the first time I had this. Can anyone explain? Cheers!

I cannot explain, Guillaume, but I can chime in and agree: every time I "comb my hair" in Harvesting Qi, my hair is wet with sweat - the only difference from day to day is how wet.

Today was day 46 of my "100 Days of Qigong." I don't think that has anything to do with sweat, but I am with you on the 100-day thing. However, I do not think I'm going to be able to take Master Lin's recommendation to take day 50 off, it just feels too good. But we'll see.

Best wishes for the Happiest New Year ever to you, and all!

David smile

Hi David! Thanks for your reply! That's interesting that your hair gets wet. Wow! I'm just going to go with the flow with the Qi Gong. Enjoy your 100-day challenge.

And Happy New Year to you too, all the best for 2012.

Aloha Guillaume,

Good, better, best. If you have to do your practice at a different time some days, go ahead and give yourself permission to do it at a different time each day. Your body will appreciate continuing the daily practice.

Best,

Shawn

Do you all practice the full time that's on the DVD? He mentions on the 100 day challenge to practice 2 min. or 10 min. or how ever long you can. How do you practice for shorter periods of time? Do you just stop where you are in the full DVD routine? Or do you practice certain exercises out of the full routine and close with the ending exercise?

Hi TracyG! Thanks for your e-mail I apologize for not replying sooner I haven't been checking out the blog lately. Anyway, in response to your question I do the whole exercise from beginning to end including the ending. I'm unemployed at the moment so I've got the time to all the routines. There were 2 occasions it was in one weekend I was doing a 2-day course I didn't do the whole routine I just did the first 5 moves. But, interestingly though my body has felt lighter & lighter I'm not as tensed as I used to be. Also, my tummy has gone down a bit, because there was a bit of a bulge there. Good luck with the Qi Gong. GUILLAUME.

Hi, The sweating, like on hands is something that happens, when you interact with what is often called "the other side", i think it can have something to do with being in contact with the "membrane" from this reality to what is projecting this reality.

Hi God of Shapes! Thanks for your e-mail & clarifying the "sweating" issue. Yes, it's certainly giving me a lot of thoughts that I could look into. I'm on day 56 for the challenge. So I'm still on course. Good luck with the Qi Gong. GUILLAUME.

Also another way of looking at this particular topic, can be where your attention has a habit of flowing like into the hands, so this can be a stage of at least recognizing the energy so it is a start of a process to work on or with.

So you might notice it there, but with practice will not be a issue as you get better with the rest of the body energy channels, and things start to Flow around better, it is just about practice i guess, and how the channels start to open up.

Like i have stomach problem, but i notice i do not help the problem by sitting down to one side, or i could alleviate the problem some by not doing that unconscious slouching, so the energy body cannot function as well then, so i am trying to improve my posture, and realign the energy back to where it should be, also the amplification aspect as well.

The Human body has many energy fields around it, some mimic or flow the shape of the body, some are geometric shapes around and over the body etc, they connect directly back to source.

I am finding i am out of alignment slightly because of "western" living and the environment, which causes health problems, though at least i am learning some of the cause of these disease or illnesses, and possible cures.
