You lose muscle only if you try to lose the fat too fast and your body needs to burn energy fast it goes for the easiest fuel to access. As a body builder, weight trainer the amount of fuel you need still be greater and sometimes decreasing is not the right approach, rather increasing more of the right foods. Ideal Weight intends for you to adjust your weight in a healthy manner without burning muscle or adding excess fat.

I can understand subliminals that will make you eat less, have less apetite, desire only healthy foods etc. A bodybuilder needs more than this.

A bodybuilder more or less already knows the right foods and has the discipline to eat healthy. So there is no need to motivate or change anything in this direction. MAYBE if "Ideal Weight" can really count calories/nutrients consumed, then yes, this would be great help in directing what amount to eat from each of the foods and maybe at what time. Can "Ideal Weight" do this?

Yes, this is the way to do it, always. Could you tell me how it acomplices this?

I am not asking how the paraliminals work. I am asking what are the commands and directions that go into the mind. And I am asking this because even if you hired a full time nutrinionists, following you at every step, it wiould still be very dificult to build fat and loose muscle at the same time.

Normally bodybuilders will do a period of "bulking". Through proper training and eating they will add much muscle and some fat. Then they will go to the "cutting" period. Here again through proper training and eating they will loose much fat and some muscle. The goal is at the end of these two periods to have gained much muscle and loose fat.

Now a bodybuilder will always do some weight training and some aerobics. Maybe "Ideal Weight" can direct the subconcious to go into the anabolism phase during the days of week of heavy weight training, selecting the proper anabolic foods etc. And during the days of aerobics, it will direct it to eat less, cut down on carbohydrates and try to loose some of the fat.

Knowing and applying what one knows are two different things. The Paraliminals guide you to applying what you know.

The Paraliminal does not count calories you do.

No one stands over you with a whip to make sure you do it right. Like I said it guides you to applying what you know and in some causes you to look more at finding what you don't know yet.

I don't consider the sripts on Paraliminals commands. They are stories that help you to rethink your relationship with food and body image.

The inner mind is much more capable than the conscious mind and weight control is largly a process of the nonconscious, automatic functions of the mind. Its aim is to guide you to instinctively eat better. The body will still do what the body does. Store fat and burn muscle first if you cut back the calories to the extreem. If the body doesn't get the calories it needs from food it will take them from muscles when it needs the fuel in a hurry. If you want to lose fat without losing muscles you have to take it slow. That's why Ideal Weight target is that you only change 1% of your bodyweight a week. Because gaining weight faster than that means you're gaining more in fat than muscle.
