To place "sleeping tiger" image on right side of the doorway, does the image have to be of a sleepoing tiger or would a non-sleeping tiger be ok (as long as it is placed lower than the dragon on the other side) I want to use a wall vinyl of a tigers face.

I do not know how a non-sleeping tiger will affect you - I have not tried it so far. I can only tell about the good experiences my friends had with a sleeping tiger and "a proud standing dragon". I gave them copies of the images in the book and now their difficulies with the neighbours have dissolved. The tiger energy on their right was overwhelming and they had no dragon at all on the left. I think that's the reason why the tiger should be sleeping - to have peace. If there's no one who actually knows in this forum, you can try it (9 days, 9 weeks) and if you get into trouble you can still replace it by a sleeping tiger. But maybe one of the moderators has some better suggestions than trial and error...

Why do images of white tiger and green dragon on the front door work when substitued for the real thing?

Does the white tiger and green dragon also work if the white tiger is not placed to the west and the green dragon is not placed to the east and if so why?

The dragon to the left and the tiger to the right of your entrance door, while facing outwards can be symbolic. You don't need to run out and buy a statue or picture to place there.

When you stand there facing out, do you have something (a tree, shrub, garage), that is taller than what you have to the right of you?
