Hi Andromeda
From personal experience following the Centerointe program stimulates neurological growth and connectiveness. It is a very slow process, but it does work, it also increases your natural resilience to whatever life may throw at you.

Best Wishes

Nick

The MindMap book might help. I think Einstien Factor mentions this as well. There are some perscription drugs that you can legally purchase and own, so long as you purchase them from overseas sources without the intention of reselling them. I can't recall the exact name, but I think peracitam was how it sounded like.

hi friends!

thanks for your replies!! I think I was a little vague when I posted my initial question, so I apologize. Let me be more specific.

I wanted to find some sources of books or particular practical exercises that actually expand my neurological networks. Buzan's mindmapping and the einstein factor are really good books and very helpful in understanding how our brains actually work. so based on that, i wanted to find and utilize truly actionable tools (i know that i could do tons of mindmaps, but they take a lot of time...). some have told me before that doing iq tests, would help me build certain thinking patterns, but i am not really sure if that truly helps me, because i have a feeling that it builds my "solving mensa sort of puzzles"-iq. those problems don't really seem applicable in many situations. sure simply experiencing and reading, and truly thinking about those experiences and books expands our neurological networks, but are other tools? No, not expensive subliminal tapes, etc, but more tangible?

i guess that the mensa puzzles might be good, but are there other sources there? does anyone else think that these puzzle books (like those from mensa) build our neurological pathways and allow us to somehow use the thinking patterns on other things? maybe someone knows of really good thinking pattern books???

again, your feeback would be excellent!!

ps: nickr, you mention a "Centerointe program [that] stimulates neurological growth" and i was curious what tangible difference u felt? i saw that it costs a ton of money. are u using any other resources aside from that perhaps? are those tapes similiar to what paul scheele offers? i am not a big fan of subliminal tapes, so what is your take on that?

If you want something specific that you can do I would recommend you learn PhotoReading. PhotoReading books defentally will stimulate your brain and will help you create those neurological networks you are seeking to build. After every time I PhotoRead I can really feel my brain working.

If you have looked at the PhotoReading book without success you might want to consider taking the seminar. Personally, it was only after taking the seminar that I actually knew how to PhotoRead and could do so with confidence. But hey, that was just me. I suspect you will find success. Well, Good Luck!

The Genius Code course has lots of creative mental tools for creating more neural networks... it also helps you understand the code of your inner mind.

Memory Optimzer course has great tools like the abc list and other tricks for enhancing memory and also building neural networks.

Both these course can be used everyday for fun and benefits.

I have been in the Centerpointe program for just over a year. My mental sharpness has improved and I don't get stressed as much as I used to. The full program takes approximately 11 years. This overwhelms a lot of people;but most meditators regard their daily practise as a lifelong discipline. I have noticed that many people say that Centerpointe is expensive. But their after sales service is excellent the staff are knowledgable and very caring. The cost to me so far has averaged about £4-5 per week ($7.00), about the price of two beers in England. Cost aside, the program does work for those who stick it out!
Check the website www.centerpointe.com

Try looking at http://www.astromind.com. It has caught my interest. Haven't tried it yet, but it sounds interesting.

Hi Andromeda,

What about immersing all your senses in a whole world of new experiences??? Go to different shopping centers, drive along roads that are new to you, delve into nature's invigorating scenery, learn bird names(feathered birds) etc. Using all your senses to experience as many new things as possible is a sure way to cause new neurological networks. See extravaganza's, opera's, theatre, sport etc.

Delve into total immersion!!!

Grant
