Over the period of my life I've attended many activities such as the one this past weekend. Many, including and especially this one, have been wonderful. But I don't believe I've ever come away from any of the other events with the amount of practical wisdom I received this past weekend. All four of the presenters were great. And Learning Strategies staff were extremely supportive of the entire process. I will definitely attend such an event with Learning Strategies in the future.

My take-home message - short form of what the entire event meant to me:
This is not something we GET, this is something we ARE.

Longer form (this is from Jeddah's first Seeds Meditation):
"Notice the stream of awareness and be conscious.
Be conscious awareness.
And notice that conscious awareness is not dependent on age or ability or education.
It is not EARNED, we do not need to DESERVE it.
It is not dependent on us being an EARNEST SEEKER.
This is not something we GET, this is something we ARE.
It is a constant present,
Given freely in each moment.
Ever accessible, ever available, ever present.
Ever present."

Namaste,
Stephanie

The weekend conference was the most overwhelming, soul touching and memorable experience that I have ever had and will be touched by it for a very, very long time. The world would be a better place if it would listen to the teachings of the 4 Masters and David young's music.
