Last week I received an interesting call from a client about one of my letters in which I wrote how to make a shift from living as “a human being having a spiritual experience” to living as “a spiritual being having a human experience.”
He had an intellectual understanding of the concept, but I could sense struggle in his voice.
He pretty well understood that it is not that each of us has a soul, but that each of us is a soul. We are each a spiritual being…that has a body. Not a body that has a soul.
He even said another way to look at it is that your soul wears the human body as we would a suit or a dress. At one point it is new, it gets comfortably worn, it gets old, and then it is time to get rid of it.
Our soul is our eternal self. That’s who we really are. We are not our bodies, or our personalities, or what happens to us in this lifetime. We are spiritual beings having human experiences.
I asked him if he knew all of that as fact. Beyond the shadow of any doubt. He hesitated.
He asked me if I knew it as fact, beyond the shadow of any doubt.
I said, “Yes.”
He asked how I knew?
I said I had experienced it.
You see, that’s what I love about the way that Jeddah Mali teaches. She’s all about changing the paradigm of us living as humans to us living as spiritual beings having human experiences.
And she gets it through to us, not by lectures or writing, but through experience. Through her meditations she guides us to experience who we really are. She makes book knowledge come to life. And all we have to do is sit there with our eyes close, listen to what she says, and follow along the best we can. It’s that simple!
If you want to get beyond “I believe life is this way” to absolutely knowing how life is, get Jeddah’s Seeds of Enlightenment and begin feeling it for yourself.
The program includes eight meditations. Do one each week. Repeat the meditation two, three, four times. And then move on to the next. You’ll get a series of experiences that will change the paradigm of your life. It is eye-opening. It is a game changer.
When you finish with Seeds of Enlightenment, go onto her Embracing Freedom. It has 12 more meditations. It keeps the string of experiences going for you so that doubt erases. And then do the final program in her series called Infinite Grace. The combination of these three programs is called Changing the Paradigm.
